2015年5月18日，青岛威达体育用品有限公司打造了我国首个以学生装文化为主题的博物馆——山东威达学生装博物馆，场馆面积3379㎡，现有获奖学生装作品、不同时期图文实物、古老纺织设备、社会捐赠文物以及相关工具书籍等珍贵藏品千余件，全面展示国内外学生装文化和历史。置身其中，仿若穿越古今，纵览历史长河，形象诠释“威达走来、呵护未来”的人文情怀。

山东威达学生装博物馆将传统文化与时代精神有机结合，独树一帜，具有回望历史、注释时代、聚焦特定文化的学术价值。建馆以来，吸引全国各地的专家学者、高校及教育机构前来参观研学，应邀在全国以流动的博物馆形式进行展演三十余场，为中国的学生装文化建设和学术文化交流打造了一个以史为鉴、中外对照的学术平台。

依托山东威达学生装博物馆历史文化精髓，2016年11月25日，中国教育装备研究院学生服饰研发中心落户威达产业园。研发中心建筑面积约2700㎡，是我国首个产、学、研、检一体化的学生服饰研发中心，在提高威达学生装研发创新能力、提升学生装品质、健康与安全的同时，也实现了学生装产业供给侧结构性改革、转型和升级。

中国教育装备研究院学生服饰研发中心的建成，为推动我国中小学学生装工作改革，引领垂范，打造具有华夏文化特质、代表时代风尚的学生装，提供了技术研发的平台。
